Photograph article dated November 26, 1957 partially reads, "Gerald Lee 'The Phantom Prowler' Matthews today pleaded guilty to three counts of criminal attack as he was scheduled to go on trial on kidnaping, robbery and assault charges. The Sun Valley laborer admitted criminally attacking three San Fernando women last year. Superior Judge Le Roy Dawson scheduled March 18 for a probation hearing and sentencing on three counts.
