Description
One of Conversa's most recognized images, that of a cat staring through a small "rat's" hole. Conversa staged the photograph by luring the cat to a card-board cut-out with a piece of liver. On the back of the mount is a list of the prizes the image won: 1st Prize A. P. Contest; 1st Prize University of MIssouri; 1st Photographic Society of America (Chicago); 1st International Photographic Society (New York Show, Best of Show), 1st Prize N.C.P.A. San Francisco.
