Photograph caption dated January 16, 1962 reads, "These women, with the exception of Mrs. Ward Spangler, second from left, will direct golf activities for the Studio City Golf Course women's club for 1962. The new board was officially installed yesterday at a luncheon at Queen's Arms Restaurant. Pictured are, left, Mrs. William Bates, tournament chairman; Mrs. Spangler, outgoing president; Mrs. James Dodd, new president; Mrs. James Lefler, vice president; Mrs. Herbert Caldwell, treasurer, and Mrs. Richard Wessell, secretary."
