Description
Frank Pack was a longtime Pepperdine University religion professor. He is also the namesake of the Frank Pack Distinguished Christian Scholar Lecture Program, which was named in his honor. Jerry Rushford, of Pepperdine University, recorded this oral history in the process of researching his book “We Preach Christ Crucified…”. The interview took place at Pack’s home in west Los Angeles, California, on his birthday (Feb. 5, 1986). The focus of the interview is mostly biographical, including his years at various Churches of Christ colleges, including Pepperdine. Della, his wife, was also present for the recording.
