Description: “Front of Liaoyang Hospital.” External view of front entranceway of hospital building. Construction of the hospital in Liaoyang began in 1891and was completed in May 1892. The building was constructed on the location of an ancient Buddhist temple, and the great bell of the temple hung over the main hospital building. ❧ United Free Church of Scotland photographs from the Rajputana mission.
