Jalalpur Jattan is located approximately 10 miles northeast of Gujrat. Dr. Herbert Francis Lechmere Taylor (1872-1954), was a medical missionary in the Punjab region, specifically Jalalpur. This photo is likely the hospital that Dr. Herbert Francis Lechmere Taylor (1872-1954), a medical missionary, helped establish. He later returned to Edinburgh, where he was superintendent of the Edinburgh Medical Mission Society and published a book, In the Land of the Five Rivers, about his time in the Punjab.
