In front of the tent baggage, in the background several mules. One copy is retouched. -- Friedrich (Fritz) Bock (1902-1993) was a missionary of the Hermannsburg mission in Ethiopia from 1932 to 1936. He was married to Marie Engel, née Harmening. From 1937 to 1944 he served in South Africa. Afterwards he worked as a missionary in Germany. -- Hermann Grabe (1901-1984) was a ship carpenter and deacon. He was a missionary of the Hermannsburg mission in Ethiopia from 1927 to 1935.
