Description
Clyde Arbuckle and unidentified woman posed with scales and gold foil wrapped candy nuggets. Nuggets in small pans lableled, "The San Jose Mercury and News are a sweet buy! 100,000 daily circulation." On November 5, 1955, the combined daily circulation of the San Jose Mercury News and San Jose News first topped the 100,000 mark.
