Description: The photo caption printed in the Sacramento Bee on September 15, 1964 states: "In the foreground is the cloverleaf interchange which will link the 29th-30th Streets Freeway with the W-X Streets Freeway. When completed in the middle of 1968, the interchange will allow traffic to bypass Sacramento without having to stop at traffic lights from San Francisco to Reno. In the background is the Department of Motor Vehicles Building."
