Description
Lee de Forest with five men, standing in snow holding snowballs, taken in Barre, Vermont. From a de Forest scrapbook (2003-34-730). It is likely this photograph was taken near the time that the Phonofilm demonstration took place in Montpelier, Vermont. The men's names are written on the front of the photograph, from left to right: "LdeF, Joe Daly, Wm Waddell, Operator, Chauffry (?), Operator. Oct 11 - 19 - 25 -- Barre, Vt."
