Looking south on Broadway. The Victor Clothing Company at 242 So. Broadway is visible. A closer look at the mural shows a man in a tux and the head of a woman, which is now gone. The mural is titled "The Bride and Groom" and is painted on the north wall of the Victor Clothing Co. building. The five-story mural, painted by artist and muralist Kent Twitchell from 1973-1976, measures 70'h x 70'w, and was painted with latex and acrylic on masonry; it took him three years to complete it. Carlos Ortiz, then owner of the Monarch Bridal Shop commissioned Bride and Groom for $5,000 when he was a tenant of the building. Monarch's bridal and tuxedo wear was located on the 2nd floor of the building.
