Description
Shown in circa 1907 are the Colonial Apartments, located at the southeast corner of the intersection of Seventh and L Streets. Built in 1905, the structure was composed of 100 rooms, and apartments that came in two, three and four room configurations. Units came with electricity, private baths, and gas and steam heat. In the center of the frame is a sign for the building's grill, which could seat up to 100 people.
