Photograph shows William Semple Green Historical Marker, the site of the first posted water notice by Will S. Green. California Historical Landmarks. Frank S. Reager and Charlie Lambert. Frank Reager (1869 - 1957) was prominent Glenn County educator, one time Superintendent of Schools, and first president of Colusa County Historical Society. (see Wagon Wheels, VIII, I, p.1) Charlie F. Lambert (1887-1959) was a prominent irrigationalist and founder of Colusa County Historical Society (see Wagon Wheels, IX, I, February 1960.) The Monument, dedicated May 15, 1954, was erected 3 1/2 miles north of Hamilton City at the Head gates of the Glenn Colusa Canal.
