Description
Republican mural, Spring Whiterock Rd./Falls Rd., West Belfast, 1982. Mural protests deaths by plastic bullets; 'Civil Order Plastic Death In Memory of those Murdered by Plastic Bullets'; mural 'Done by Springfield Youth Against H-Block and Armagh'. Mural depicts figure (Margaret Thatcher?) in sights of gun; to left of mural, soldier with plastic bullet gun, 'Lt General Pringle' (Lt. General Steuart Pringle, a Royal Marines Officer, was targeted by an IRA booby-trap car bomb in London 1981 - lost his leg).
