Description
Photograph of San Bernardino's "E" Street looking south along Fourth Street, ca.1905. Horse-drawn carriages are parked along either side of the street, which moves into the background. Two- to three-story buildings line both sides on the other side of the sidewalks, with the Masonic Temple visible on the right just in from the foreground. The minnarets of various buildings can be seen above the smaller buildings on both sides of the street. Utility poles are positioned on either side as well, with a hill visible in the far center distance. Legible signs from left to right include: "[...]lite. Restaurant.", "New York Bakery", "Physician and Surgeon", "12th Annual [...] Process", "Thomas Hadden Company", and "Stationer. Drawing [...]".
