Photograph article dated June 29, 1963 partially reads, "Two Valley students have been honored with the presentation of Scouting's highest rank, the Eagle Scout award. In a special court of honor for Boy Scout Troop 102, Panorama City. Tom Fox, a sophomore at James Monroe High School, Sepulveda, received his Eagle Scout award. James D. Winters, field deputy from the office of Councilman Ernani Bernardi, and Scoutmaster D. R. Hames, made the award presentation."
