Missionary Hazel Platts, born 1921 in England. She has worked as a missionary in India for almost 30 years. In 1961 Hazel Platts went to Assam, invited by the Indian people and Danish Santal Mission. Here she worked for 9 years, until all missionaries were forced to leave. In 1970 she returned, this time to Calcutta, where she from 1973 became Manager of the Cathedral Relief Service in Calcutta's slum areas. Hazel Platts returned home in 1991. (Photo 1983).
