Description
Photograph of two men watching sailboats on the sea, perhaps at Santa Barbara, ca.1930. Two sailboats cross paths on the water, one to the left with three masts up, and another to the right without a mast. A lone figure in a small watercraft makes his way through the water beside the sailboats. In the shadow of a tree in the left of the foreground are two benches, on which sit two men watching the scene. The foreground is framed with the boughs of a tree to the right, and the branches of another plant to the right. The middle foreground is dotted with foliage. In the leftmost corner of the scene is what appears to be a small wharf.
