Description
This portrait is featured in the December 1928 issue of The Central Furrier, in an article titled, "Harry E. Slonaker Enters Field as Manufacturers' Representative." "Harry E. Slonaker, well known in Chicago and the Middle West, recently announced his resignation as vice-president of S. D. Stoll, Inc., effective January 1, 1929. Mr. Slonaker will enter business as a manufacturers' representative. Mr. Slonaker, more intimately known to the fur trade as 'Harry,' will represent a number of reputable and leading fur manufacturers of New York....At present he is in New York, located at the Pennsylvania Hotel, where he will be for about a month....upon his return, will enter quarters which will be made known later through this medium."
