Roy L. Walford discusses his book, “Maximum Life Span.” He begins by explaining why aging differs from person to person. He describes about how older bodies can reject organ transplants. He talks about the theory that antioxidants can slow the aging process because they stop toxic cells from harming the body. Walford discusses his career as a professor of pathology at the University of California at Los Angeles. He talks about the work he is doing on enzymes and DNA repair. He ends the interview by describing habits people can do to live longer such as getting proper nutrition and taking vitamins and antioxidants.
