Description
A group of men at the groundbreaking ceremony for Memorial Gym. This photograph was featured in a newsletter with the following caption: "Proper dress for ground-breaking ceremonies was demonstrated by students who turned out on January 5 when the new War Memorial Gymnasium was started. Seen watching the ceremony are (left to right): Dave Gillingham '52, Bud Piper '52, Chet Stafford '52, Ken Wilcox '52, Don Scott '52, Martin Ortlieb '50, Oliver Peter '52, and Ed Heath '52 (son of Colvin Heath '16)."
