Photograph caption dated January 23, 1961 reads "The Edward Sawlsville family of Sepulveda surrounds the picture of the seven children, ages 1 to 14, whom they have adopted. Sawlsville flies to Maskego, Wis., Wednesday to bring home his grandchildren who were orphaned when their mother died of cancer and their father was killed 20 days later in an auto accident. With Mr. and Mrs. Sawlsville, 9038 Orion St., are their own youngsters, Dennis, 13, top; Diana, 9, bottom left, and David, 11."
