Description
This is an image of the E. Lockett & Son plant located at 552 South Raymond Avenue, taken on May 5, 1955. This plant may be where the company made concrete or other building materials. Documentation provided by the photographer indicates that the photo was ordered by Edmund A. Lockett, president of the company. Mr. Lockett was married to Matilda and resided at 1860 Linda Vista Avenue. According to the 1955 Pasadena City Directory, he was also the director of the Mutual Savings & Loan Association. The original negative was badly damaged and is no longer available.
