Description
Adults and children on the porch of two-story wood-framed building, next to a structure with a pulley and gear system. A young adult on a horse is outside in the yard, holding a rifle over their shoulder. Cummings was the site of a stage station and post office north of Laytonville on the Humboldt Road.
