Description
Site of propsed garage-air raid shelter combination, a drawing, by the Los Angeles City Planning Commission. Map located proposed Civic Center underground garages which could "double" as air raid shelters when completed. The $10,000,000 project will have space for 5600 cars and 90,000 people, preliminary plans indicate. Photo dated: January 6, 1951.
