Photograph caption dated February 10, 1962 reads "Despite the weather, Pierce and Cerritos college wrestlers battled yesterday afternoon on the Pierce mats. Cerritos rallied to win, 21-16. Pictured are two of the matches. On the left (pictured), Cerritos' former state champion, Aurellio (Cisco) Andrade, has a leg hold on Pierce's John Owens, underneath and facing the camera. At the right, Roger Sibert of Pierce has a face and head hold on Mel Rosen, but the latter escaped to win the decision. Andrade also won by a decision in the 137 pound class, Rosen in the 167-pound class." Pierce College is in Woodland Hills. See image 00158008 for additional photo in this series.
