Photograph article date stamped September 22, 1962 partially reads, "Pierce College football coach Ray Bishop started the season with a fine slogan. He said his Brahmas were going to 'punt and prey.' There's only one trouble with it today - it didn't work. Perhaps it should have been 'pray and punt.'" Photograph caption reads, "End of the line for this Brahma gridder - Pierce halfback Roy Toms (20) stopped by ELA tacklers Lane Sterling (24) and John Cousimano (77)."
