Description
Hospital Corps Detachment, 7th Regiment at the San Francisco Earthquake and fire in April, 1906. Men from Company L were assigned to this duty. Company L was formed by men of Santa Ana in 1890 as part of the State Guard. Company L gave assistance to San Francisco after the 1906 earthquake and served through the Spanish-American War, two World Wars and the Korean conflict. Major F. M. Bruner, a Santa Ana physician, was in command. Members are in uniform in front of a tent. Top row includes: Scholes, Ivins, Barnes, McGill, Dubois, Collins, Winslow, McGuire, and Fowler. Bottom row includes: Allen, Tumber, Sanborn, Hurd, Major Bruner (Commanding), White, Kelley, DuBois and Hill
