Description
Shown is a program for Twentieth Annual Art Ball of the Art Student’s League of Sacramento, held on November 9, 1945. The theme for the student-and-faculty-run event was a “Festival of Flowers” and featured such performances as “The Spider Dance” “The Shrinking Violet” the “Blossom Ballet” and “The Wall Flower.”
The Art Balls were organized so that all proceeds from the Ball’s attendance would be directed towards a school scholarship that benefitted struggling Sacramento art students at the college.
