Photograph caption dated April 2, 1987 reads, "After three years of renovation, it's home sweet home again as the oldest remaining Victorian-style house on Hollywood Boulevard rolls out the welcome mat. The opening yesterday culminated the long renovation to the 1903 structure known as Jane's House Square at 6541 Hollywood Blvd. The old-fashioned house also got some look-alike neighbors after an adjacent mini-mall was renovated and converted to a Victorian motif, said Bill Chandler, a spokesman for City Councilman Mike Woo. 'What's nice about it is they carried the Victorian theme of Jane's House Square throughout the mall,' said Chandler."
