"Gnadent[h]al: Grab mit französischem Bibelvers: Mon secours vient de l'Eternel." ("Genadendal: Grave with [a] French vers from the Bible: My help comes from the Lord."). The picture shows a grave-slab surrounded by soil and a white frame. Written in the grave-slab with capital letters: "BOCENA BEATRIX RAPPARLIE (NEÉ LINDNER) GEB. 25 APRIL 1881 TE PRAG. ONTSLAPEN DEN 6 DECEMBER 1904. MON SECOURS VIENT DE L'ETERNEL." ("Bocena Beatrix Rapparlie (née Lindner) born on the 25th of April 1881 in Prague. Passed away on the 6th of December. My help comes from the Lord." Written on the card board: "18.2.34. P. Theile." The Afrikaans used for the inscription is an old version of the language, not modern Afrikaans.
