Description
Tony Perry, Portuguese milker and gardner circa 1930. Home located at approximately 346 Montford Avenue. In 1956 a group of writers known as the "Beat Generation" (including Jack Kerouac and Gary Snyder) lived for a time in the Perry house. It is now owned by Homestead Open Space.
