Description
Photograph of an exterior view of the Mission San Fernando Rey de Espana as seen from an olive orchard, 1890. The diffuse trees of the olive orchard stand in the foreground, separated from the mission property by an adobe wall approximately four to five feet tall. The long, two-story adobe building of the mission is visible between their branches at center, with its spackle having come off in places. A second adobe building is partially visible to the left of it, as is a post-and-rail fence in front of it.
