Description: Interior view of Amelita Galli-Curci residence in Brentwood. View shows living room and fireplace. Note light walls with dark wood-beamed ceilings and floors. Neff liked the contrast of light and dark. He specified a nigrosine paint technique for the ceiling finish, a time-consuming technique which housepainters dreaded. Date built: 1936. Architect: Wallace Neff.
