Construction is going on everywhere. While workers are on the roof of the Witzel Photography Studio removing tiles as they demolish the building to make way for the Harbor Freeway, cranes raise more steel beams for the new Statler Center in the background. A sign on the Witzel building announces that the studio has moved to S. Bonnie Brae. A faded sign advertising apartments and used cars is on the side of the brick building, right. Photo dated: Mar. 16, 1951.
