Description
The woman on the left wears a purple dress with long, loose sleeves, a fitted bodice, and a bell-shaped skirt trimmed with a line of purple bows. Her dress has a scooping, white lace, lay-down collar and two yellow bows. She wears a pale yellow bonnet decorated with pale yellow bows and pink flowers. The woman wears a thin, beaded filet, white gloves, and pointed, black shoes. She carries a small, open, green parasol. The woman on the right wears a patterned green dress with bell-shaped skirts trimmed with three deep bias flounces. The sleeves are fitted above the elbow and loose to the wrist, where they taper into white, lace cuffs. A ruffle and a small puff adorn the sleeves at the elbow. The dress has a vee-neck edged with two rows of white lace. The dress fastens at the waist with a green belt with an oval gold buckle. The woman wears a yellow bonnet lined in pink and trimmed with pink ribbon. Her gloves are pale yellow and she wears white stockings and black, lace-up slippers. The two women stand on a tiled floor. A third woman above them wears a pale blue dress with long, loose sleeves, long, white cuffs, full skirts, and a wrapped bodice. The dress has a vee-shaped neckline edged in white lace, and the woman wears white gloves, a white shawl, and a small, white, beaded necklace. Her pink bonnet is trimmed with pink plumes, long pink streamers, and darker pink flowers. In the upper left corner of the image is a white poke bonnet with a rear ruffle, a spray of white flowers, and green ribbon accents. Below it is a yellow hat decorated with a pink ribbon and a long, pink plume. A pale yellow poke bonnet with a rear ruffle is shown in the upper right. A blue bonnet trimmed with blue ribbon and a pink rose is below it.
