Description: S. S. Taylor, city traffic department general manager, and Arthur W. Lutz, president of City Hall Commission, examine the electronic "brains" that react to the traffic conditions. For instance, if Sixth St. inbound (sign, top left) is jammed, the electronic system will send out signals to adjust traffic lights so that the stalled cars will be able to proceed again.
