St. Mark's Episcopal Church, 7813 Clearfield Ave., Panorama City, conducted a day-long all-parish festival last Saturday in honor of its patron saint. The festivities began with Holy Communion and continued until dusk." Photograph caption reads, "Prayer first - Father Lowell B. McDowell administers communion to Ed Thein, from Arleta, while 16-year-old Barbara Gray, of Van Nuys, and her father Bill Gray wait for the sacrament.
