Description
Photograph caption dated September 27, 1962 reads, "Gov. Edmund G. Brown attempted during a recent Valley appearance to sell 5-year-old Bob Sorrentino, Toluca Lake, on the Democratic Party. In top panel, Brown presents Bob with an autographed card. But after thinking it over briefly, the boy returned the card to a surprised Brown and then turned to his mother, Mrs. William Sorrentino, for protection from any gubernatorial wrath."; See images 00086023-00086025 for this series.
