Photograph caption dated December 26, 1957 reads, "Mr. and Mrs. Carlye Smith of Sun Valley pose before family airplane in which they take frequent cross-country hops after landing at Double J Ranch near Victorville. Smith is president of Lockheed Pilots Club operated through Lockheed Employees' Recreation Center. With Smiths are son, Calvin, 4, Janet Bardwell, 7, David, 11, and Charlene Smith, 9."
