Description: "M'Lange and District. M'Lange School." Exterior view of school and grounds, Mulanje, Nyasaland [Malawi]. The presence of a Mission station school fostered the education of girls, who were taught domestic subject such as sewing and laundry. The school roll eventually grew to 140 pupils.
