Description
Anthony Gallea discusses his book, “Contrarian Investing.” He says that contrarianism is looking at information a different way. After reviewing research studies, Gallea discovered that when a stock drops 50% or more from its year high, it tends to outperform the market for the following three years, therefore the 50% rule is used as a proxy. Gallea emphasizes the importance of checking the health of a company and diversifying the number of stocks to get rid of individual stock risk. He goes on to discuss sell discipline, third world markets, and buying value.
