Photograph was edited for publication purposes Pictured are plastic swimming pool covers placed on the hillsides at the Wrightwood Estates above Vineland Avenue and Ventura Boulevard in Studio City. Residents placed the covers in order to protect the hillside from soil erosion due to heavy rains.
