Description
Photograph of an exterior view of the "Casa de Esperana", the Juan Agula adobe home at Capistrano, [s.d.]. The adobe, built in 1794, is pictured in disrepair at center behind a garden of cacti. Much of its spackle is crumbling off, showing the brick and the roof appears to have been patched several times. Two front doors can be seen past the porch at left, where a rocking chair sits. An excavated area full of rubble can be seen in front of the house in the dusty ground to the right.
