The Bunker Hill Tower was designed by architect Robert E. Alexander in 1968. The last tree on Bunker Hill is silhouetted. A parking lot (35 cents each half-hour) replaces previous buildings at the northwest corner of 4th and Hill. City buses, automobiles and pedestrians make this a busy intersection. A "Sunshine - Institutional Grocers" truck is parked on the left; the Bunker Hill Tower is on the far left. Photograph dated December, 1973.
