Caption under image reads, "HEADING FOR COURT--Gordon Hirabayashi talks to reporters Monday on his way to the Federal Courthouse in Seattle for the first day of a trial in which he seeks to prove the U.S. government suppressed, destroyed and altered evidence attesting to the loyalty of Japanese-Americans in order to justify their wartime internment."
