"Mr. and Mrs. A.F. Ufford are going home on furlough. This picture of our family expresses to them our requests for thie leaving. Since we have worked together four years in the Shaohing International Relief Committee we depend upon the warm affectionate and sincere co-operation of these our two old friends... ." The Uffords' colleague D. W. Si and his family are pictured.
