Chevrolet division makes debut - Chevrolet Division of General Motors marked its first entry in Rose Parade with float depicting annual 'All-American Soap Box Derby.' Roy Rogers and three 'derby winners' were aboard. Event is sponsored annually by Chevrolet and Valley Times is a sponsor of the Soap Box Derby in the Valley.
