Photograph of an exterior view of the Perkinson Hotel at 824 Golden Avenue, between West 8th Street & 9th Street, Los Angeles, 1915. The three-story building with a flat roof can be seen at center with a fire escape visible on the 2nd and 3rd stories above the front entrance. Pairs of rectangular windows can be seen at left and right on each story, and windows can be seen behind the fire escapes. Two potted trees are visible on either side of the entrance, and a road runs across the foreground. Another building is visible at right. Photoprint reads, "No rooms (all all outside / 47, 65% w/private bath, public shower, steam heat, mahogany finish, furniture $1.00 up - detached bath , $4.00 week $1.50 up private bath, $6.00 week."
