Description
Students pile onto a decorated Volkswagen Bug during Pitzer's 20th Anniversary Parade on September 24, 1983. Writing on the left door of the car reads, "Save an alligator...eat a prep..." with an alligator painted on the door, "The Doors" written under the handle and an American flag with a peace sign made of the stars. The door on the right side of the car has a peace sign painted on it with "Woodstock" written below it. By the door handle is painted "What a long strange trip its been". One student sitting in the front of the car has a radio, and balloons are tied as decoration.
